Our Beverley Race Day is rapidly approaching. Thanks to the sterling work of one of our volunteers Benoit Guerin and his team we have already raised £1000s to fund our mission to tackle antibiotic resistance. Its still not too late to buy tickets. Click HERE to go the Beverley Race Course site. The race day is at Beverley Race Course and is a Roll Up Roll Up race meeting to raise money for Antibiotic Research UK. Regarded as one of the finest race courses in the North of England and with a true family atmosphere, the course is over 300 years old. Whether you’re an enthusiast or casual racegoer, family or couple, the course offers a friendly welcome, a unique atmosphere and luxurious facilities. You can sip champagne in our Premier Enclosure, treat yourself to a three course meal or enjoy a picnic right in the heart of the racing action.
A highlight of the day will be the running of the Bark de Triomphe, a race for dogs owned by jockeys and owners. Each dog will be dressed in the owner’s colours and there will be 3 preliminary races followed by the grand final. Bets will be taken by course bookies with all the proceeds going to ANTRUK. In addition there will be people collecting money from the crowd throughout the day. We will also have a stand with information about the charity. So please come, have some fun and support this vital cause not just for your sake but for your children and grandchildren. Without effective antibiotics medicine could go back to the dark ages.
If you want a reet good day out then turn up on 1 August 2017.
