Find out how to become a fabulous volunteer

Wondering about how to become a volunteer, but not sure where to start? Join our Virtual Volunteer event at 7pm on Wednesday 28 July!

We really appreciate everyone who volunteers to help us achieve our vision of a world free from deaths caused by drug-resistant infections. There are different ways you can get involved, such as running a fundraising group, becoming a community ambassador or telling people your story about antibiotic-resistant infections.

Claire Nethersole, Regional Fundraiser, said: “I’m looking forward to speaking with people who wish to help support our work. There’s something inspiring about people choosing to give up their time to help the greater good! The news keeps telling us that drug-resistant infections may cause the next pandemic; every single person who gives up their time is helping us stop that from happening.”

During the event, Claire will explain what the different ways to become a volunteer for Antibiotic Research UK, and how to apply. There’s no pressure to do so; just join us on Zoom to find out more and see if it would be a good fit for you.
