Anthony Mitchell Donate, Get involved

There is still time! Join us to celebrate British Science Week by designing your own ‘bacterial bad guy’ this weekend.

Bio Baddie competition

Just grab your art materials (any medium you like) and get designing! Create an artistic impression of what an antibiotic-resistant bacterium might look like. Find out how to enter and submit your image. But hurry, British Science Week ends on Sunday 14 March!

Two winning designs will be chosen from each age category. The winners will receive a fantastic t-shirt featuring their design. All entries will be displayed in our Facebook gallery daily, where you can see some fantastic existing entries!

We are the UK’s only charity dedicated to fighting antibiotic resistance, yet it is an issue that could claim 10 million lives a year by 2050. One thing that will really help our mission is spreading awareness, and art competitions are a great way to do that. Whether you’re young or old, a complete amateur or a professional artist – get involved and help save modern medicine.

This competition is free to enter, but as a charity our research into antibiotic resistance relies on your support. Please make a donation to help keep our vital research going or find out more about how you can support us here.
