NEW POSITION – Patient Support Officer (part time)

Antibiotic Research UK (ANTRUK) is the world’s first and only charity focussed on tackling bacterial antibiotic resistance which threatens modern medicine. We are seeking to appoint a Patient Support Officer to develop a unique portfolio of patient support resources for people including patients affected by antimicrobial resistance.  The successful applicant will be instrumental in working with other team members to identify and prioritise the development of the resource.   Candidates for this position should ideally be a graduate or professional with experience of working in a similar patient support role, and with an understanding of health sciences and antimicrobial resistance.  They should have good communication and IT skills. As ANTRUK is a virtual organisation the successful applicant will be expected to work from home and provide their own office facilities.

This is a part time (eight days per month) consultancy position and is offered in the first instance for a fixed period of twelve months.   The remuneration will be dependent on experience and qualification but will be up to £250 per day.
