Sarah Glover has been a dentist for 20 years. To celebrate this achievement she is organising an event to cycle 20 miles a day for 20 days to raise money for us. She has also asked friends to cycle with her . She is asking family, friends and patients to collect 20p coins over the 20 days to donate and is asking companies that she works with for a minimum of £20 donations. Sarah will be giving prizes for the biggest collection.
Sarah writes ‘I think raising money for Antibiotic Research UK is important, because without antibiotics everyone will be affected in some way either directly or indirectly. Raising money for Antibiotic Research UK also raises awareness of the importance of only using antibiotics appropriately and the great need to develop new antibiotics against resistant infections. Antibiotic Research UK is a charity which sets out clear aims and objectives of how it will use the money effectively’.
