Tea, Coffee and Chocolate Exhibition and Talk by ANTRUK Ambassador David Battie

Alison Staples Uncategorised

We were very pleased to learn that David Battie, the well-known ceramic consultant on the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow, had put on an exhibition and gave a talk to help raise money for us. David’s exhibition featured many of his personal extensive collection of items associated with non-alcoholic imbibing. The exhibition was held at Tayler and Fletcher, fine art auctioneers based in the Cotswolds. Members of the public were invited to make donations and David was able to raise nearly £800. On the last day of the exhibition David gave a talk entitled “These are a few of my favourite things’.

David is a long standing ANTRUK Ambassador who was badly affected by an antibiotic resistant infection which nearly caused him to have his leg amputated. You can read David’s story HERE

David has kindly offered to do a repeat performance so if you are an auction house interested in having a public event for our charity then please get in TOUCH.

If you want to hold an event, any event, just like David to raise money to fight antibiotic resistance then please get in touch. We would like to hear from you.
