Antibiotic Research UK are the worlds first charity determined to discover a new antibiotic by 2020. There have been no new antibiotics discovered for the last 30 years. Now there is a huge rise in Antibiotic Resistance Bacteria infections in western hospitals in the form of MRSA and many others.
Join with us as we set out to tackle this problem head on. We have teamed together with the most pre-eminent scientists in order to crack our heads together and come up with a new antibiotic by 2020. This problem will take us back to the labs in order to do some real science to find out what drugs we can concoct together that already exist that might help solve our problem cheaply without huge new clinical trials having to be undertaken. This saves both time and money!
